Are you tired of your job or are you looking into a career change.

It’s not unusual for us to pick up the daily newspaper and scan through the help wanted ads.

It gives us that quick fix sense that things will be alright, but we may need to be careful of those “it’s too good to be true” job listings.

When the word scam comes to our mind we automatically think Telemarketing, Network Marketing or simply anything that may do with the internet.

Yeah, we got it all figured out, but sometimes we overlook the fact that our own daily newspaper may have scams in it also.

Most of the time our own local newspaper does not have the time to research each and every job listing.

A lot of these scam artists know this and take advantage of their job opportunity scam in our local newspaper.

Fortunately there is a way to recognize job listing scams with the right know-how.

Free and weekly news papers are one of the ways these scammers use to target those who are looking for a job.

Stay away from any job listing that requires a deposit or a requirement that you have to purchase your own equipment.

If anybody needs to fork out any money it should be the so called employer.

In a nutshell, keep in mind that anybody can put an ad in the job listings section of any newspaper; we just need to be cautious and keep the above points in mind when searching the job section.
