subaru-foresterThe new Forester made by Subaru is a crossover sport utility vehicle.  It originally was suppose to come out in early 2010 but it is out now and sales have been in the record highs.

There are many reasons why the Forester is so popular:

1.  This five door, five passenger SUV is the right size for you soccer moms/shoppers.

2.  The Foresters four cylinder engine (170-224 horsepower) gets around 19 mpg in town and 24 mpg on the highway.

 3.  With today’s today economic crisis this vehicle is also affordable; about $20,990 is the lowest starting retail price.  This standard all-wheel drive vehicle is something definitely worth looking into.

4.  Oh did I mention it earned a 5 star rating in the government front and side crash test and Consumer Reports recommended it as a good bye.

For an extra $2,000, you can get the Forester equipped with an automatic transmission.
