My stepfather once said; if you ever want to be successful you must possess a positive attitude, a solid work ethic along with other characteristics.

 

This also holds true to those who have that entrepreneur spirit within themselves.  Work ethic and positive attitude are the two of many traits one needs if he or she is going to engage in a certain business undertaking

 

 What traits characterize the potential entrepreneur within, besides the two listed above?  The more the traits the more chances you have at success.  What are some traits you need to be successful?


A:  Are you willing to take risks?  If not then success will be very difficult to accomplish.  Having the ability to take risks is a very important trait to have.

 

Doing your homework and evaluating each challenge will help reduce the level of risk you are taking.

B:  Having a good head on your shoulders can be characterized as a good trait to have.  Making smart decisions will help any potential entrepreneur in his or hers business.

 

Being mentally alert along with a keen sense of the environment that surrounds your business will take you far in your business.

 

C:  If you can lead then you will go far.  Leadership skills is a hard trait to find these days but it is a must to have if your inner entrepreneur spirit is telling you it’s time to take action.

 

D.  This may fall under the risk factor but are you willing to take that first step?  Are you willing to see what you’re made of in the business world or will you just sit on the porch and watch opportunity drive by time and time again.
